Monitoring of the ACADEMICA project in Uzbekistan
The European Commission and its Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) have developed a comprehensive field monitoring policy that places a special emphasis on the effect of the participation in EU projects at institutional level, the impact and sustainability of projects, as well as the dissemination and exploitation of results.
For this purpose, the Agency, together with National Erasmus + Office of Uzbekistan and external experts, conducted visit to Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine (03 October 2018) with a view to find evidence and good practices in relation to the impact of the projects on the individual, institutional and national level.
Monitoring was conducted by Piia Heinamaki (Project officer, European Commission, Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency), Siarhei Piashkun (External expert) and Aziza Abdurakhmanova (Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Uzbekistan) with participation of Nabijon Kholov from Ministry of Innovative Development.
Project ACADEMICA were monitored in order to find evidence on principal factors (during and after the project) having affected the sustainability of the project results and to give recommendations for further sustainability of the project.
